DESIGN PROCESS & FEES

The following stages outline the design process from initial consultation to the final installation.


WORKING DRAWINGS & PROJECT MANAGEMENT.

Once agreement with the client has been made regarding the design proposals, the drawings are to be signed off by both parties.

Working drawings and visuals are prepared for final presentation to the client and contractors involved.

Drawings detailing the fitted furniture specifications, electrical plans, flooring layouts, soft furnishing specifications, flooring specifications and decorating schedules will be supplied to contractors for quotation purposes.

Quotations are then typed up and presented to the client.

At this stage the design process is completed and the works handed over to the contractors.
CH Design will project manage the work. This includes:

  • Collating quotations
  • Timetabling work
  • Purchasing goods
  • Site visits to check progress
  • Site meetings with client
  • Liaising between contractors & client over installation matters

The project management fee is invoiced at interim periods, as agreed with client.

Move to next stage (Site visit after project completion)

DESIGN FEES.

Design fee: £30.00 per hour/£240.00 per day
Project management fee: Sliding scale 10% (project value over £10,000) - 15% (project value up to/including £10,000) of total contract value.
Travel expenses will be charged at 50p per mile.
