BAILDON WOODBOTTOM WMC: BAILDON BRIDGE, BRADFORD
The client's
brief for this project was to ‘bring the working mens' club into
the 21st century'.
The bar
and function room required a complete strip out and re-fit with
all new electrical re-wire including a new sound system & lighting;
new ceiling complete with air conditioning & ventilation system;
new built-in furniture; flooring; decoration; window treatments;
and new free-standing furniture throughout.
The club
wanted a new, more modern look, but still had to meet with the existing
members requirements for a varied and multi-functional use.
A personal
touch was added with the digital wall image depicting the old club
during a flood – the client's own photographs were digitally manipulated
& coloured to tie in with the new scheme, and this was then
produced in giant size to form the ‘wallpaper'.
Image design
was produced by CH Design.
Wallpaper
was manufactured by Tektura.
